Number Frame Find the answer to a multitude of questions by framing a number within the grid e.g. Frame a number divisible by 9 and less than 40, Find a multiple of 7 less than 50. Alternatively, frame the number first and use it for quick fire questions e.g. Round the number to the nearest 10, What is the product of the digits? Two Number Frames By framing two numbers of up to 6 digits each, the possibilities are endless. Use them to practice addition, subtraction, tables, place value, rounding and much more! Balloon Pop - Number Bonds Work out the missing number bonds and reveal the answers by clicking each balloon. Options include simple number bonds to 10, right through to those using 2 decimal places. Balloon Pop - Rounding Round each numbered balloon to your chosen objective. Balloon Pop Add, subtract, multiply or divide the given number to each of the balloons. A range of options allows easy differentiation of these activities. Carroll Diagrams - One Criterion (Number) Improve children’s sorting skills with these Carroll diagrams using one criterion. Options include multiples of 2 to 12 as well as square, prime and triangular numbers. Carroll Diagrams - Two Criteria (Number) Increase the level of difficulty by using a second criterion. Carroll Diagrams - One Criterion (Shape) A great way to learn properties of shapes as well as practising grouping skills. Categories include triangles, quadrilaterals, symmetry, right-angles and 2D shape names. Carroll Diagrams - Two Criteria (Shape) Combines shapes with properties such as right-angles, lines of symmetry and parallel sides to give a more challenging activity. Function Cards Click on the cards to reveal the start and finish numbers and use them to work out the hidden function. Choose from one or two-step functions and also the level of difficulty for each one. Multiplication - Grid Method A dynamic way to demonstrate the grid method of multiplication. Estimating Angles Estimate angles up to 360 and then use the on–screen protractor to see how accurate you are. Acute, Obtuse and Reflex Angles Estimate and measure angles then use the appropriate vocabulary to describe them. Angles in a Triangle Create a variety of triangles and use the tools to measure and calculate the angles within. Area Use the given measurements to calculate the area of different rectilinear shapes. Perimeter Use the given measurements to calculate the perimeter of different rectilinear shapes. Reveal Grid - Multiplication A great activity to practise multiplication. Complete the 3 x 3 multiplication grid by working out the product of the numbers in each row and column. The ‘puzzle’ feature challenges you to complete the grid with only a few starting numbers. Differentiate by choosing your objective. Add the numbers in each row and column to fill the grid. Interpreting Data Four different data sets each with their own set of questions provide a quick and useful resource for helping children interpret data. Bingo Have hours of classroom fun while improving addition and subtraction skills. Work out the answer to the on-screen sum then see if it is on your bingo card. Play for a line, corners and full house! Bingo Cards Randomly generated bingo cards to print out. Mean, Mode, Median and Range Order a set of either 5 or 7 cards then work out the mean, median, mode and range. Sum and Product Problems The sum and product of two digits are given. Can you deduce what they are. Time Difference - Two Analogue Clocks Improve time-reading skills by working out the difference between two analogue clock times. Multiple options allow comprehensive cover across different learning objectives. Time Difference - Analogue and Digital Clock Work out the time difference between an analogue and a digital clock. Time Difference - Two Digital Clocks Work out the time difference between two digital clocks. All our evaluation activities at www.maths-packs.co.uk require Adobe Flash.
